• Payment information: the transaction reference, amount and status of your payments. Your card and banking details are handled by our payment gateway and never reach our servers (see section 6).
• Device and usage data: your device, IP address, browser type and how you use the website, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
• Messages: what you send us when you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter.

• To provide our services: to create and manage your account, give you access to what you bought and prepare personalised score reports.

3Staff Access to Accounts

Our authorised staff may open a student’s account only to:

• check test results and make sure our questions and scores are correct;
• help with technical and account problems;
• prepare score reports and send them to the student’s registered parent or guardian;
• make sure our Terms & Conditions are followed and stop misuse.

Staff sign in with secure logins and two-factor authentication, and each person can see only what their role needs. We keep a record of staff access and review it regularly.

4Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers: trusted companies that process payments, send emails and text messages, host the website and measure how it is used. They may use your information only to do this work for us, and must keep it safe.
• Schools: if you are connected with a school or educational institution, we may share your results with it, but only with your permission or your parent’s or guardian’s.
• When the law requires it: to comply with legal obligations or requests from authorities, protect our rights or prevent fraud.

6Payments and SSLCommerz

Payments on nobin.com are processed by SSLCommerz, a secure online payment gateway in Bangladesh. You can pay with debit and credit cards (such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express), mobile banking (such as bKash, Nagad and Rocket) and internet banking.

• What we send SSLCommerz: to process a payment, we send SSLCommerz your name, email address, phone number, the address in your profile (if you have added one), the order amount and a transaction reference.
• Your card and banking details: you enter your card number, PIN, OTP and mobile or internet banking login on the secure pages of SSLCommerz or of your bank or wallet provider. Nobin never receives or stores these details.
• Payment records: after you pay, SSLCommerz tells us whether the payment succeeded. We keep the transaction reference, amount and payment status to confirm your purchase, give you access to what you bought, handle refunds and keep our accounting records.
• Security: payment information travels over encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections, and we verify every payment with SSLCommerz before your order is confirmed.
• Refunds: refunds are handled as described in our Return & Refund Policy.
• SSLCommerz’s own policy: SSLCommerz handles the information it receives under its own privacy policy, which you can read at sslcommerz.com.

7How We Protect Your Information

• Limited access: only authorised staff can see personal information, and only what their role needs.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information, except what the law requires us to keep, such as payment and accounting records.

Many of our students are children. A child under 13 may use Nobin only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who can create the account and add the child as a student. We collect only the information we need to provide our services to the child. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information without a parent’s or guardian’s consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If the changes are important, we will tell you on the website or by email. If you keep using Nobin after an update, the updated policy applies.
