By enrolling in the Nobin Scholars Challenge (“Challenge”), the parent/guardian and student (“Participant”) agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Participation is voluntary and subject to compliance with all rules set forth below.
The Nobin Scholars Challenge is a paid academic benchmarking program. It is designed to measure student performance and progress using grade-level assessments aligned with New York State standards. The Challenge is not a course, not tutoring, and not a guarantee of academic improvement or prize receipt.
Each subject (Math, ELA, or Science) constitutes a separate challenge and requires separate enrollment and payment. Students may enroll in one or more subjects. Parents/guardians may enroll multiple children under a single account. Science challenges are offered only for Grade 5 and Grade 8 students. Enrollment is complete only upon successful payment.
Enrollment fee: $7.99 per subject. All fees are non-refundable, without exception. No refunds will be issued for non-completion, disqualification, missed deadlines, or withdrawal.
For each enrolled subject, participants must complete both of the following grade-level assessments: Diagnostic Assessment (Test 1) and Final Assessment (Test 2). All required assessments must be submitted no later than March 31, 2026. Failure to submit the Final Assessment by the stated deadline will result in automatic ineligibility for prizes, without refund.
Awards and rankings are determined within grade bands, not across all grades. Grade bands are defined as: K–1 (A), Grades 2–3 (B), Grades 4–5 (C), and Grades 6–8 (D). Scores are compared only among students within the same subject and grade band.
Champion Award $100 — Highest verified Final Assessment score. Challenger Award $75 — Greatest improvement from Diagnostic to Final Assessment. Committment Award $50 — Random draw among students who complete both assessments. Certificates of Recognition are awarded to prize recipients. The total prize value per subject per grade band is $675. Prize availability is subject to verification and compliance with these Terms.
In the event of a tie for any prize category, the winner will be determined by random draw. Nobin’s determination is final and binding.
Prior to prize distribution, Nobin reserves the right to request verification, including but not limited to: proof of student identity, proof of grade level or school enrollment, confirmation of parent/guardian information, and confirmation of assessment integrity. Failure to provide requested verification within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes.
Participants are expected to complete all assessments independently. Nobin reserves the right to: review assessment data for irregularities, invalidate results, and disqualify participants for suspected misconduct, cheating, impersonation, or misuse. All integrity determinations are final.
Prizes will be distributed only after verification is complete. Delivery methods include: USPS mail to a confirmed address, or in-person pickup (instructions provided after verification). Nobin is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information, lost mail, or stolen mail.
By enrolling in the Nobin Scholars Challenge, parents/guardians consent to receive Challenge-related communications from Nobin via email and text message (SMS), including but not limited to: enrollment confirmations, assessment reminders, verification requests, winner announcements, and important program updates. Email addresses and phone numbers provided may be subject to verification. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Nobin does not sell or share contact information for marketing by third parties. By providing a mobile phone number, parents/guardians expressly consent to receive automated or non-automated text messages related to the Challenge. Consent is not a condition of purchase beyond program administration.
Participation in the Challenge is at the participant’s own risk. Nobin makes no representations or guarantees regarding academic outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nobin shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Challenge.
Nobin reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge, including deadlines or prize structures, if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Any material changes will be communicated through official channels.

Uploaded materials are used solely for verification, recordkeeping, and winner recognition purposes.
